Hello

Well hello there! My name is Mitzi and I really appreciate you stopping by my new blog! I wanted to start this so I can have an outlet to help me. My son is growing up way to fast and I thought this could be a way to document this phase of his life. I'm also going through a weight loss journey and I thought this would be a way to keep track and make myself accountable. I also love to craft (my instagram name is Craftywannabe) but I'm one of those  'nailed' it pictures you see on Pinterest.  Do you Pinterest? I love it!!  I tend to ramble too.... Have you lost interest yet?! I hope not!!  I have a sarcastic sense of humor. I like to make jokes and I hope they come across that way..

I work as a classroom aide in a handicap classroom. I have been with my husband for
over 20 years and we have a 14 year old son.  I suffer from rheumatoid arthritis and
I'm sure I will mention that a time or two here....  I am trying to lose weight so I
will be posting updates and things that are working for me.
I love to find hearts. I believe they are a sign from God, his way of showing
his love for me.  I find hearts in clouds, leaves, rocks, even crumbs on my
floor.

I hope I inspire you to look for God's love everywhere.  You may not find hearts,
you might find feathers or pennies. Whatever it may be I hope you know that
you are loved! Please feel free to let me know If you have a special something that you look for. I would love to hear about it!!

There are only a few days left in 2013, and I can't believe another year is coming to a close..  Last year was my first year for choosing a word to represent what I want to
strive for in the coming year. My word was HAPPY!! This time last year, I was in a dark place. I don't remember all the details, I just remember I wasn't very happy. Plus I turned the big 4-0 in September. I struggled a lot with trying to be happy, in fact I think the more I tried to be happy, the more things crossed my path to make me UNhappy. I'm happy to report that I AM happy!  I have made several
changes in my life and have even lost 30 lbs.. I haven't chose a word yet for 2014, but
I'm leaning towards JOY!!  Everyone needs JOY in their life.....
